Non-medical home care in South Carolina

Caregiver careers

Caregiving, treated like the profession it is

SteadiCare Home Care is a licensed, locally owned non-medical home care company in Greenwood, South Carolina — and our caregivers work close to home, serving families in their own counties. Our owner, a Registered Nurse, put the goal in writing: “a home care agency that families can trust and caregivers are proud to be a part of.” This page is how you join it.

SteadiCare Home Care, LLC is an equal opportunity employer.

Why here

What working here actually means

No stock promises — the four things about this company that matter to the person doing the work.

  • Work near home

Our caregivers serve families in their own county — Greenwood, Abbeville, Anderson, Laurens, Greenville, Newberry, Saluda, Spartanburg. The drive to work stays short, and the families you serve are your neighbors.

  • A named human, not a black hole

Your application is read by Kara — our Recruiting Coordinator, with a direct line — not scored by software and forgotten. You will know where you stand, either way.

  • Matched, not shuffled

We match caregivers to families on needs, personality, and location — and keep the match. Steady assignments with people you come to know, and a coordinator who backs you up.

  • Grow with SteadiCare

SteadiCare is a young, growing Greenwood company. The caregivers who join now help set the standard everyone after them will be held to — and are remembered for it.

The bar

What we ask of every caregiver

South Carolina's licensing standards make these legal obligations, not fine print — and they are why families open their doors to us. If the bar reads fair to you, we should talk.

  • State (SLED) and federal criminal background checks before hire — repeated at least every two years.
  • Drug testing before employment, and random testing after — a five-panel screen at minimum.
  • Training for the duties you perform, documented and signed.
  • Reliability and real compassion — the two things we cannot train.

Current openings

Real openings, posted with real pay

When a role is open, it appears here — with the pay range, the county, and the dates. When it's filled, we take it down. We only post positions we're actively hiring for.

Nothing is posted right now — but caregiver interest is always welcome, and hiring in a growing company moves fast. Introduce yourself to Kara and you'll be the first call when a role opens in your county.
